Friday’s Check-in and Recap. Plus a relaxing tip.
It’s Friday and it’s been a hectic week if I may say so.
Between the coronavirus, traveling, and the unknown.
Those things can always add a little stress to the mix.
It’s important to have something you can do to relax and destress.
What is it that makes you feel good even in the worst of times?
There is something that we all can do that makes us feel good and helps us reset.
I suggest writing down things that make you feel good and then doing them.
This week I spoke about how important it is to give yourself credit for the things you have accomplished.
Many times we are focused on getting to a point; a goal, and we forget to acknowledge the steps we have taken to get here.
Give yourself the credit you deserve.
Things don’t have to be perfect.
They don’t have to be like the next person’s success.
It looks differently for all of us.
Today don’t stress about getting things done perfectly, or that they are not the way you wanted them to be.
Just give yourself the credit you deserve by getting to that point.
Before I forget.
Make sure you write down five things you want to do for yourself TODAY.
Pick one thing off of that list and do it.

My favorite stress busting tip is to pay attention to your breath.
Stop and relax your entire body, stretch, and find a comfortable position.
Take a deep breath in and exhale it out.
Do this three times and as you are doing this pretend that all your worries are leaving with the exhale.
You can also set a timer for five minutes, with some background music.
Please do something daily to relieve your stress.
Place yourself on top of the list.
