Wait, before I even go into that. Are you dulling your own sparkle?
When I first saw this quote, I wondered what the heck are they referring to besides me sparkling or some “girly” stuff.
But after really thinking about it I came to the conclusion that it’s more than just saying to someone don’t let anyone dull your sparkle, it is also about acknowledging that sometimes we let other people’s opinions, thoughts, words whatever, dull our sparkle.
Regardless of your interpretation, you must live your life the way you want, without letting other people add stress to what you’ve decided to do.
You are probably asking what does this have to do with stress?
You see we often do things to please others.
We worry about what other people are saying about us.
We don’t belong in the “in” crowd.
The list goes on, and on, and on, and on!!!

So it’s often good to have a plan to deal with the side effects of…politics, games, or whatever it may be.
Tip #1- shine your light all day every day.
So it may require you to stand alone.
That can be a lonely feeling, but I am sure that you can sleep well at night.
Standing alone can mean you don’t have any interruptions while you do the things you want to do.
Standing alone also can mean getting to know yourself a bit better.
Sometimes in the most uncomfortable, stressful moments, you get to know what is the most important in life.
And often it’s not them!
Tip #2-Do something to relieve your stress.
These uncomfortable feelings, or emotions caused by these moments have you feeling something.
Go for a walk.
Kickboxing or punching bags are a great way to relieve stress.
This one is all about finding out why it’s bothering you.
Sometimes quieting the mind and sinking into those emotions can help you figure it out.
We often find that this has nothing to do with us, and everything to do with difficult people.
Some people never leave high school.
They have a bully mentality.
They talk badly about people.
Treat people poorly.
Or just talk sh&%!
There’s no rhyme or reason and trying to figure them out is going to waste your time.
The only person you can figure out is YOU.
You are in control.
This is all about you and what can help you feel better.
Take time daily to relieve your stress and take care of yourself.
What are your dreams?
What are those things that make you smile as you think about them.
Remember, that you matter and so do your dreams.
Don’t let anyone dull your sparkle.
